Thanks to a collection of Gunn & Paly staff, parents, and students, the first ever virtual PAUSD Career Month kicks-off on Friday, March 19th and includes the Career Speaker Series (live Q&A with industry expert speakers), Women in STEM panel, a job fair, and a career pathways fair that offers alternatives to traditional 4-year college. Gunn PTSA is hosting Dr. Jeong Choe & Rachael Kaci of the CCE Team to provide parents with information about the Career Month events and how to start planning for summer internship/job opportunities. Zoom credentials will be sent out via UpToUs the day before the meeting.

Meet Rachael Kaci and Dr. Jeong Choe, who are running March’s PAUSD Career Month series with career speakers from a wide variety of fields for our students to get familiar with. They also run and organize Gunn and Paly’s summer internship programs, and Work Study programs. Find out about these excellent programs, and career month at the Career Month website, as a section for Parent resources has been added, which includes the slide deck from Friday’s meeting.
